Serial killer:são indivíduos que cometem uma série de homicídios com um intervalo entre eles, durante meses ou anos, até que seja preso ou morto. As vítimas têm o mesmo perfil (prostitutas, mochileiros, crianças, idosos) e mesma faixa etária, sexo, raça etc. As vítimas são escolhidas ao acaso dentro deste perfil e mortas sem razão aparente; ela é objeto da fantasia do serial killer.
